Description
A small, mixed-media experimental painting created during a playful session of mark-making. This process kick-starts ideas and gives me the opportunity to test palettes and compositions. It’s a fun process that frees up any ‘block’ I might have. The results always surprises me – sparking my imagination.
The painting is made on heavy weight paper, from the studio of Carol Sinclair. Carol uses the paper as a protective backing when rolling out clay. I have re-used the paper, incorporating some of the marks from Carol’s porcelain. This sustainable, collaborative process ensures minimal waste in our making process.
The painting is protected in NATIVIA bio-based compostable cello film, and will be sent in a hard back envelope.
