Day 1: Getting to grips with modelling with paper and papier mâché
Day 2 More paper making – this time butterflies. Gorgeous pattern making, colour combining and 2D/3D construction
Day 2: A break from the paper crafting inside to do some botanical exploring outside. Spying with magnifying glasses and lovely ‘field’ notes of their discoveries
Day 3: Finishing off butterfly garlands, water lilies and birds. Perfectly adorable results. Simple, cheerful and loads of fun
I simply adore these photos of the butterfly garlands…. transforming the Winter twiggy trees into Spring wishing trees. Stunning.
