Night Skies, Stars and Christmas Robins.
Week 1: What better way to mark ‘clocks go back’ weekend and saying goodbye to British Summer time, than celebrating the beauty of the night sky?! We spent a while looking at photographs taken with a long exposure, which showed off the amazingness of our galaxy in all its glory. We then spent a while drawing stars as part of a collaborative piece which will form the background for one of our nighttime pictures. The rest of the session was spent making a collage background and then playing with mark making processes, creating textures and patterns by applying paint in different ways. Lots of blue hands, much giddiness and delightful collaborative working!
